An attractive citrine-yellow color with golden tints, this aromatically intense wine has notes of well-ripened peaches, melon and white flowers, which are balanced by a touch of vanilla courtesy of its aging in oak. Lively on the palate, excellently integrated notes of American oak reveal a very long, balanced and agreeable finish.

A blend of 50% Bical, 35% Arinto, and 15% Alvarinho, this tasty and reasonably priced wine was sourced from Bairrada as well as Bucelas in the broader district of Lisbon. Medium-bodied with flavors of white melon and stone fruit, it gains complexity from just a whiff of vanilla and a precise kiss of sweetness that melds well with the fruit character rather than coming off as sugary.
